Description
This reference design is a crop bra built from two layers. The outer layer is cut in a deep green and the inner layer in cream, so a second shade shows around the round neckline and along the underband. Wide straps run over the shoulder, the band is built from two layers with two rows of stitching, and the back opens into a deep U where the inner layer meets the centre. It is built for studio and dance ranges. Our gym wear manufacturing team runs this construction. The points below are the construction details visible on the reference sample. Layer pairing, strap width and band depth all stay open until your specification is approved. A second shade shows at the neckline edge where the inner layer meets the outer. The band is built from two layers and finished with two rows of stitching. The back drops into a U opening with the inner layer visible at the centre. Broad straps sit over the shoulder and carry the neckline line. Layer pairing and band construction drive this style. The cards below separate what is confirmed at sample stage from what stays open until your swatch and artwork are approved. Neckline depth, strap width, band depth and U back height are set on the pattern. The block can be graded from your size chart or developed from this reference design in ODM mode. Outer and inner shades are matched to separate Pantone references and approved on strike-offs. How much of the inner tone shows at the neckline is agreed on the sewn sample, because seam allowance moves that edge. Chest prints, woven labels, rubber patches and branded elastic are available. Position and size follow your artwork file, and the approved placement is carried on the sample. Before bulk, the sample is checked on the body and after wash. The full flow is set out in our women sportswear sample policy. Four references are shown below, covering the layered front, a second front angle, the deep U back and a fabric reference on body.
