Description
This reference design is a cut-and-sew booty short in a short leg length, built as a two-tone style: a wide contrast band folds over the body, which is cut from a deeper-toned knit. The waistband is a double layer that can be worn high or folded down, and the front panel is clean, with no pocket and no visible front seam. It is a close, short fit for warm-weather training and studio wear, developed for private label and OEM programmes. The points below can all be verified on the reference sample, and each one can be reworked to your own specification once the style moves into development. A wide two-layer band folds over the body of the short and can be worn high or turned down. The waistband is cut separately from the body, so the two shades can be swapped independently. The leg opening sits high on the thigh and the front panel carries no pocket or visible seam. A debossed mark sits on the back of the waistband, where a woven label or print can be placed instead. Every element of this short is open for your own range. The cards below separate what is confirmed on the reference sample from what is agreed at sample stage. Production follows the same route each time: approved sample, then bulk, then final inspection. Body knit, waistband knit and any inner brief are selected against your brief and approved on a swatch before pattern work starts. Inseam, waistband height and fold-over depth are set on the pattern block. Your style can be graded to your own size chart, or the block is developed from this reference in ODM mode. Waistband and body can be dyed as two separate shades, and the contrast can run as a solid or a print. Pantone references are matched on strike-offs and approved before bulk. Woven labels, heat-transfer logos, silicone prints and branded elastic can be placed on the waistband, the leg hem or the back panel.
