Description
This reference design is a two-layer running short: a loose outer layer is gathered onto a wide elastic waistband, with a fitted inner short underneath. The outer layer is slit at the side hem and finishes mid-thigh, while the inner short carries a side pocket sized to hold a phone close to the leg. A reflective logo detail finishes the outer layer. It is a road and treadmill short developed for private label and OEM programmes. Our custom shorts manufacturing range covers this two-layer silhouette. Every point below is visible on the reference sample, and our gym wear manufacturing team can rework each one to your brief. A gathered outer shell is joined to a fitted inner short, so one garment carries two layers. The inner short has a side pocket deep enough to hold a phone against the thigh. A wide elastic band holds the short high on the waist, with a gathered seam where the outer layer joins. A reflective logo sits at the lower front of the outer layer for low-light visibility. The cards below show what is confirmed on the sample and what is agreed during development. The route is the same for every programme: approved sample first, then bulk, then final inspection. Outer shell, inner short and waistband elastic are selected against your brief and approved on a swatch before pattern work. Outer hem length, inner short length, waistband depth and pocket size are set on the pattern block. Your style can be graded to your own size chart, or developed from this reference in ODM mode. Solid dyeing and contrast inner layers are both available. Pantone references are matched on strike-offs and approved before bulk, and the inner layer shade is controlled separately. Reflective logos, woven labels, heat-transfer marks and branded elastic can be placed on the outer layer, the inner short or the waistband to your artwork file.
