Description
This reference design is a biker short cut to mid-thigh in a smooth knit, with a wide self-fabric waistband that sits high on the waist. A horizontal yoke seam runs across the hip, and a ruched seam at the centre back draws the fabric in above the seat. The front panel is clean, with no pocket and no visible front seam, and a debossed mark sits on the back of the waistband. It is a training and everyday short developed for private label and OEM programmes. Our custom shorts manufacturing range covers this biker silhouette. A self-fabric waistband is cut wide and sits high on the waist, held with an internal elastic. A horizontal seam runs across the hip and separates the waistband panel from the leg panels. A gathered seam at the centre back draws the fabric in above the seat line. The leg finishes at mid-thigh with a clean hem and no side slit. Every element of this short is open for your own range. The cards below separate what is confirmed on the reference sample from what is agreed at sample stage. Each programme runs the same way: approved sample, then bulk, then final inspection. Body knit and waistband elastic are selected against your brief and approved on a swatch before pattern work starts. Waistband depth, rise, thigh circumference and the position of the yoke and ruched seams are set on the pattern block. Your style can be graded to your own size chart, or developed from this reference in ODM mode. Solid dyeing and contrast waistband panels are both available. Pantone references are matched on strike-offs and approved before bulk. A debossed mark, woven label, heat-transfer logo or silicone print can be placed on the waistband back or the leg.
